How We Put ESG into Practice

JuYoung PS Co., Ltd. develops sustainable packaging solutions grounded in environmental and social responsibility and transparent management.

Environment PLANET

We apply eco-friendly manufacturing processes based on FSC® CoC certification and green technology.

FSC® Chain of Custody certification (Yongin Plant), with FSC-certified paper available within its scope, and development of recyclable paper packaging

Expanded use of eco-friendly water-based ink

Korean Green Technology and Green Technology Product Certifications, for the technologies and products covered by each certificate

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System as the basis for energy saving and greenhouse gas management

Renewable energy generation — Solar power installations totaling 1,311 kW have been built on unused space at the Ansan and Hwaseong sites (completed in 2025). They generate approx. 1.72 million kWh of clean electricity per year, which is supplied to the power grid.

For a sustainable future, we adhere to the following environmental management policy and take a leading role in building an eco-friendly printing and packaging ecosystem.

Eco-Friendly Materials First

We are expanding our use of certified paper, to help protect forest resources, and of water-based and eco-friendly printing inks.

Resource Circulation and Waste Reduction

We separate by-products from our production processes for collection and recycling, and work to improve energy efficiency.

Environmental Compliance and Improvement

We comply with environmental laws in Korea and abroad, and set and pursue continuous environmental improvement targets.

Eco-Friendly Materials and Forest ProtectionSustainable Materials

Expanding the use of FSC® CoC-certified paper — We hold FSC® Chain of Custody certification (Yongin Plant) and can supply FSC-certified paper within its scope.

Eco-friendly inks and solvents — In the production of food labels and paper shopping bags, we give priority to water-based inks and printing materials selected with safety and environmental impact in mind.

Resource Circulation and Waste MinimizationCircular Economy

Recycling process by-products — We separate waste paper and leftover raw materials from the cutting and printing processes for collection, building a system for recycling these resources.

Developing eco-friendly packaging — We are pursuing research into and application of mono-material flexible packaging that is easy to sort for recycling, as well as biodegradable materials.

Energy Savings in Printing and ConvertingEfficiency

Adopting high-efficiency equipment — We work to improve the energy efficiency of our printing, forming and converting equipment, including through automated systems.

Reducing carbon emissions — We monitor energy use by process in order to systematically reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated in converting.

Eco-Friendly Product Certification and ManagementCertifications & Compliance

Maintaining food-safety and environmental certifications — We apply hazardous-substance controls to food packaging and labels, within the scope of each applicable certification.

Strengthening our eco-friendly product lineup — We are expanding our lineup of recyclable packaging with a reduced environmental burden, to offer customers the ESG packaging solutions best suited to their needs.

Ongoing On-Site Risk AssessmentHazard Control

Safety management of key equipment — We eliminate in advance hazards such as caught-in injuries, electric shock and fire on key manufacturing equipment, including guillotine cutters, printing presses and forming machines.

Continuous improvement system — Hazards identified through regular risk assessments are corrected on the shop floor without delay.

Accident Prevention and Safety SuggestionsNear-Miss Reporting

Worker participation in safety — We foster a self-directed safety culture in which shop-floor workers themselves identify and report near-misses and hazards.
