We run all 4 printing methods in-house and choose the equipment to fit your specification.
Gravure · offset · CI flexo · inline flexo. We select the best method for the material, volume and required quality level. A supplier with only one printing method has to adjust the specification to fit its equipment; JuYoung PS selects the equipment to fit the specification.
Each printing method has different strengths. Gravure suits premium labels, offset suits small-lot premium shopping bags, and water-based flexo suits products being switched to eco-friendly printing. With only one method, the customer's required specification has to be compromised to fit the equipment.
Because JuYoung PS has all 4, we produce each of a customer's different products with the method best suited to it. This is a prerequisite for a Total Packaging Solution.
We run water-based flexo on both film and paper, and reduce residual solvents with solventless lamination.
Water-based flexo options
for both film and paper
Switching from organic-solvent-based printing to water-based flexo can reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the printing process. However, a supplier with presses for only one substrate, film or paper, has to send products in the other material to yet another supplier.
JuYoung PS has one CI flexo press for film and one for paper, plus 2 inline flexo presses for paper, for a total of 4 flexo presses. From flexible packaging (film) to paper packaging and paper shopping bags, we can evaluate water-based flexo options across applications.
We also operate a solventless laminator, so specifications can be configured with reduced solvent use in both printing and lamination.
Water-based ink reduces volatile organic compound emissions from the printing process, and solventless lamination lowers the risk of residual solvents.
Our Yongin Plant operates an FSSC 22000-certified food safety management system; hazardous-substance controls are applied to food packaging within its certified scope.
We hold FSC® Chain of Custody certification (Yongin Plant) and can supply FSC-certified paper within its scope, supporting our customers' standards for sustainable raw-material sourcing.
We operate solar power installations totaling 1,311 kW at our Ansan and Hwaseong sites, supplying approx. 1.72 million kWh of clean electricity to the grid per year.
